- Six copies of  bespoke photobook, 'Colourshift'

Working with Megan to produce my 'Colourshift' books was a delight. As this was my first photobook project I was dependant on Megan for guidance and we met several times to go through the detail of what I wanted and how best to achieve it. Communicating with Megan during our meetings and via email was always clear and straightforward and I was struck by her ability to grasp immediately what I wanted and advise on how best to achieve this. Megan kept me updated at every stage of the project and was willing to work to my tight deadlines. Her attention to detail, high standards and her obvious expertise produced exquisite finished pieces that have been very much admired. I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again.

- Twelve personal photobooks, one book of Sailing Notes

It gives me great pleasure to provide a testimonial for Megan and Novella Bookbinding. Having thousands of photographs of my three children collecting dust, I decided to create a bespoke photo album portraying their lives through family photos. This would provide keep sakes for years to come and a special Christmas gift. Megan excelled and produced special gifts that the family cherish. From my brief, productive meetings, the selection of photos to creative designs and layout, drafts were produced on time. The creation, processing, communication, final delivery and payment were very professional, smooth and effortless. I must say it was all ‘Done right first time’. Being so impressed, I followed these albums with a sailing book I had written. Demonstrating her fine art skills, Megan illustrated the book as well and producing. Again, right first time and the book has been admired by many friends.

- One A3 portfolio and one 11x14inch portfolio, both with protective slipcases

When I first saw Megan’s work at Novella Bookbinding, I was struck by her attention to detail, which as a photographer I appreciate greatly. Soon after I commissioned an A3 portfolio and slipcase to showcase my prints. I had some bespoke construction ideas and Megan went to a lot of trouble in testing and came up with a great solution to suit my needs. First impressions count for a lot and when I show prospective clients, I frequently get complimented on my portfolio even before they’ve seen a single print which highlights the high level of quality finish. It’s super durable and built to last. Even after countless meetings, the portfolio looks as good as new. I liked it so much I recently commissioned an identical unit in a 14x11 size.

- Press book, Look book, clamshell display box

Megan at Novella Bookbinding has designed and made beautiful jewellery display boxes for me for competitions. Her bespoke boxes hold my pieces securely at the perfect angle with the gold foil block numbers correlating to an information page about each piece mounted on the inside of the box. They are elegant, informative and every element is designed for the use. She is a perfectionist with wonderful problem solving skills, her work is is clean and thoughtful and she takes pride in getting everything right. Stephen Webster personally commented on my presentation boxes during the final rounds of my last competition. Megan and I are currently designing a new range of display boxes to keep in my shop and I can't wait to see them. Thank you Megan

- Fabric swatch book and order book

We had an unusual request for Megan, to produce a traditional tailoring fabric swatch book and a tailors order book. We asked for it to be lined in our tailoring pattern print and wanted a grey cover. Megan suggested a silver embossed foiling which we went for. We sent a sample book over to the Novella studio along with some materials from our bespoke house. Megan was great to work with, she knew instantly what we were after and the whole ordering process was done easily over email. The turn around was very quick and the product we received was perfect, a clean modern finish on an old classic. We still use both books at trade fairs and have had some lovely complements from clients. I would highly recommend Novella bookbinding, especially if you are after a bespoke service.

- Four copies of 'Nautilus'  look book

I love Megan’s aesthetics and minimal, clean work. I own quite a few notebooks and diaries from her collections and was really happy when she agreed to help me to bind my look books for an important show with really tight deadline. Megan is very precise and I know I can always trust her and everything will be made in the highest standard and always on time even with a short notice.

- One clamshell box with logo

I commissioned Megan to make a large bespoke box with foiled logo on top of the lid. Not only was the box made to a beautiful standard but Megan also turned the project around in a very tight timeline. I found it very easy to communicate with Megan and would definitely commission her again in the future for any bookbinding or bespoke boxes I ever need.
